Welcome to Tweed Gold Coast Freedivers!


The Tweed Gold Coast Freedivers are an active club for those passionate about spearfishing and underwater hockey. Whether you're a seasoned diver or just starting out, our club provides a supportive environment to hone your skills and share your underwater adventures.


Our club is an affiliated with the AUFQ and AUF with roughly 90 members from across SEQ.


Being part of our club means joining a network of enthusiasts who are as passionate about underwater sports as you are. We believe that you get out what you put in, so we encourage you to get involved, share your experiences, and learn from others. Whether you're interested in the thrill of the hunt with spearfishing or the fast-paced excitement of underwater hockey, the Tweed Gold Coast Freedivers offer something for everyone.

    Spearfishing

    SPEARFISHING

    Spearfishing social meetings are held at the Palm Beach Currumbin Sports Club on the first Thursday each month at 7:00 pm QLD time. 


    Meetings are open to anyone that wants to come along and find out more about what the club and AUF have to offer.


    Spearfishing activities are run every second weekend, providing the weather is kind. We provide a comp calendar that is available to members.

    UNDERWATER HOCKEY

    Our underwater hockey team is the most active in Queensland, playing three nights a week throughout Gold Coast. Just bring yourself (or come with mates), pay the pool entrance fee and we have the rest covered! 


    • Mondays / Gold Coast Aquatic Centre / 6:00 to 7:45 pm
    • Wednesdays / Pimpama Sports Hub / 6:00 to 7:45 pm
    • Fridays / Griffith University Aquatic Centre) 4:15 pm to 6:00 pm
